Chiropractic Physician

Dr. John Paul Hammer was born in Lakeville, Minnesota in 1968. He grew up on a small farm where his parents still live.  He attended St. Cloud State with a chemistry major.  From there he went to Northwestern College of Chiropractic where he excelled and graduated top of his class.

After graduation in 1993, he was recruited by multiple firms, however decided to start up his own clinic.  Rocky Mount, NC was a good choice: it was not as small as the town he grew up in, and was not so large that he would be overwhelmed.

In the over 25 years that Dr. Hammer has been in Rocky Mount, he has changed the face of chiropractic.  He has established good relationships throughout the medical profession, which had not been done before.  Because of this, patients at the Hammer Chiropractic Center benefit from a multidisciplinary approach.  He always said “If I can’t help you, I will send you to someone who can.”

Acupuncture Certified Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Dimpal Patel grew up in a small town in southern California.  She was raised helping her parents with their family business and was taught the importance of hard work and responsibility at a very young age.  She excelled in school and at the age of 20 began her studies at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Patel graduated in 1998 and went back to her hometown in California and began her chiropractic career.  In 2001 she moved to Rocky Mount, NC and now calls this city her home.

Dr. Dimpal Patel has been working at Hammer Chiropractic Tarboro since 2007 and continues to work there 3 days a week.  She worked in the Nashville office for a few years but now works at the Hammer Chiropractic office on Sunset Avenue 2 days a week.  She completed a 200-hour acupuncture certification program in 2010 and provides chiropractic and acupuncture treatment at both locations in Tarboro and Sunset Ave.

Dr. Patel strives to provide the best quality care for the entire family.  She works in the Rocky Mount office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Saturdays. She resides in Rocky Mount with her two children and looks forward to continuing to provide care in this community for a long time to come.  Dr. Patel looks forward to meeting you! 

Chiropractic Physician/Acupuncture Certified 

Dr. Allen Bolin was born and raised here in Rocky Mount. He went to N.E.W. Christian Academy in Sharpsbug N.C. where he graduated salutatorian of is class in 1999. He became interested in chiropractic care at an early age and opted not to enter the local family business. He went on to earn a degree in Biology from Barton College in Wilson and then left for Iowa and Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated with Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2007.

Dr Bolin is well versed in all the latest adjusting techniques and his highly skilled in both active and passive physiotherapies. He is skilled in the treatment of headaches, neck pain, low back pain, sports injuries, strain/sprain injuries, and other conditions. Dr Bolin has also completed a 200-hr acupuncture certification program in May 2010 and has helped many patients with this alternative therapy.

Dr. Bolin lives here with his wife and two children. He coaches little league baseball in the Tri-Community League and can not wait to help you with your healthcare needs!
